A creative playground for algorithmic art, generative visuals, video synthesis, and image processing. From intricate stills to evolving patterns, beat-synced visuals, and interactive shader art.

Lucinate is a creative playground for algorithmic art, generative visuals, video synthesis, and image processing.
Built for artists, coders, VJs, and tinkerers, it lets you explore the intersection of math and graphics — from intricate stills to evolving patterns, beat-synced visuals, and interactive shader art.
Whether you’re crafting generative textures, designing audio/MIDI-reactive visuals, or exploring the aesthetics of algorithms, Lucinate gives you the tools to turn abstract ideas into visual form.
Dive in and discover new ways to create, play, and perform with color, form, and code.

Lucinate ships with an extensive library of Metal Shading Language code that you can use to code your own shaders in the built-in MSL editor. Or inspect, tweak and learn from any of the bundled shaders!

Use Audio Analyzers as raw shader input data or to modulate parameters. Audio input can come from hardware audio interfaces or Ableton Link Audio.
Any time parameter can be beat-synced via Ableton Link or MIDI Clock.
MIDI data can also be used as raw shader input for building polyphonic MIDI visualizers etc.
