Delay in recorded audio
« on: July 21, 2018, 10:27:22 AM »
I set up a single channel playing a blip noise from Zeeon AU which is triggered from Rozeta cells playing 1/4 notes. Recording this within AUM and the timing seems good but the notes have a small delay dependent on the frame size in the settings. Looking at the resulting files in an audio editor the 256 frame setting is giving a delay of around 211 frames and 64 frame setting a delay of 52 frames. I did the same test in Cubasis and it was pretty much spot on (I read that they use an extremely small buffer when rendering).
I'm wondering if the record function can compensate for this somehow?

AU midi plugin timing issues are fixed in the current beta and will be available in the next update!

To me now, it's not urgent at all as I have such option on my new sound card, and having all inputs on the same sound card instead of sound cards in "cascade" solve everything :)
